Pot magnets are made from either Ferrite, AlNiCo or NEO magnets. The magnetic material is pressed into a metal housing (called a pot) which serves a double purpose. It protects the magnet from outside damage, and increases the holding force. Most pot magnets comes with a thread so it can be attached to a holder or attachment.
We carry a large selection of various sizes and measurements, so you can chose the pot magnet that fits your needs best. It is very important to consider the working temperature, where the various types of magnets have different advantages. Please ask us for guidence.
Please note that the force is by full contact between the magnet and the material, without air gap. If the air gap is increased, the force is reduced.
