Profile magnets are magnetic ”sticky tape” with
magnetism on one side. The other side is either neutral
metallic, or with a sticky surface to put papers or
labels on it. It also comes with various colored foil on
the surface. These you can write on, using a permanent
marker, pencil or ball pen. If you use a marker, it is
possible to clean it off with alchohol.
The profile magnets are very
easy to work with, as they can be cut with scissors or
boxcutters into the shape and length you desire. They
are often used in warehouses, as fridge magnets/toys,
business card holders or for display purposes in the
retail industry.
All profile magnets are made
from Ferrite magnets, mixed with plastic products.
Please note that the force is
by full contact between the magnet and the material,
without air gap. If the air gap is increased, the force
is reduced.
