SmCo magnets
(Samarium-Cobalt) are good, strong magnets with a very
high temperature tolerance. They can function in
temperatures of up to 350
°C, and
their surface is so hard that it takes diamond tools to
work on them. Their force is just under the Neodym
magnets. They have higher temperature tolerance than
them, however. SmCo magnets are used in the industry
for sensors, electric engines, tools and magnetic pumps.
